Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) of ventilation fans and equipment.
  • Inspect and clean fans, filters, grilles, louvers, and ducts.
  • Check belts, bearings, pulleys, shafts, and motor condition.
  • Check electrical connections, isolators, starters, and control panels.
  • Check fan rotation, vibration, noise, and operating condition.
  • Check and adjust dampers for proper operation.
  • Measure and verify airflow where required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair ventilation system faults and breakdowns.
  • Test fire alarm interlocking, including fan shutdown/start functions.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and defect lists.
  • Carry out corrective work and replace defective components when approved.
  • Follow QCDD, NFPA, manufacturer, and site safety requirements.
